Information on school trips and educational tours

  • 【Please contact us for more details.】

Amakusa is known for its abundant seafood, but Amakusa Bridges have connected the Uto Peninsula with Amakusa Kamishima and Amakusa Kamishima Island by land. Nowadays, the area is used for themed learning on school trips, such as exploring Christian sites including Amakusa Shiro Tokisada, visiting dinosaur fossils in Ryugatake town, and dolphin watching in Gowa town.
In addition, we have a track record of providing experiential learning opportunities in Amakusa, such as rowing experiences using a Peiron boat owned by Matsushima Town in Matsushima City, and creating original azulejo (decorative ceramic tiles) using white porcelain tiles made from Amakusa pottery stone.
